The Visual Board section in FaithLife OS is designed to help you create and track a personalized vision that aligns with your faith journey. By adding items to your Visual Board, you can set meaningful goals, track your progress, and keep your focus on living out your Christian vision. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to add a new Visual Board item.
Accessing the Visual Board Section
- Open the Dashboard: Start from your FaithLife OS dashboard and navigate to the Visual Board section.
- Create a New Vision Board Item: On the left side, you’ll see a New Vision Board Item button. Click this to start creating a new item.
Adding a New Visual Board Item
Once you’ve clicked on New Vision Board Item, you’ll be prompted to fill in several fields to define your vision and track your progress.
- Title: Enter a descriptive name for your vision.
- Cover: Upload a cover photo to represent your vision item (we recommend a landscape photo with a 16:9 aspect ratio).
- Date: Record the date when you created this vision.
- Featured: Check this box if you’d like to mark this Vision Board item as featured.
- Scripture: Optionally, add a Bible verse to connect this vision with scripture.
- Status: Choose the current status of your vision – Not Started, In Progress, or Done.
- Vision Board Category: Select a category that best represents your vision item from the provided options.
Using the Content Template
The template below is designed to guide you through defining and tracking your Christian vision. Each section helps you establish a clear roadmap for achieving your vision.
- My Vision: Write a concise statement that reflects your vision and how you intend to live out your Christian faith. This statement should capture the essence of your goal and its connection to your spiritual journey.
- Action Steps: Outline specific actions you will take to align your life with this vision in each relevant category. These steps should be realistic and meaningful, guiding you closer to fulfilling your vision.
- Timeline: Set a timeline for achieving certain milestones in your vision. Assign dates or timeframes for each milestone to help you stay on track.
- Gratitude: Express gratitude for the blessings and guidance God has provided in your journey. Reflecting on God’s role in your vision strengthens your commitment to pursue it with faith.
- Reflections: Allocate space to note your future reflections. Track your progress, acknowledge setbacks, and capture the lessons learned as you work toward your vision.
- Prayers: List any prayer requests related to your vision, including prayers for yourself and others who may be part of or impacted by your journey.
