The Study Groups section in FaithLife OS helps you manage and track members within your study groups. This guide will walk you through adding a new member to a study group.
Accessing the Study Groups Section
- Open the Dashboard: Start by navigating to your FaithLife OS dashboard.
- Go to the Study Groups Section: Click on the Study Groups section to access it.
Adding a New Member
- Click on the “New Member” Button: On the left side of the Study Groups section, you’ll see a New Member button. Click it to add a new member to the group.
- Fill Out Member Properties:
- Title: Enter the name of the member.
- Email: Add the member’s email address.
- Phone: Provide the member’s phone number.
- Facilitated Group: Specify if the member facilitates any group.
- Member of: Indicate the group the member belongs to.
- Role: Specify the member’s role within the group (e.g., Leader, Participant).
- Display Photo: Add a photo of the member for easy identification.
- Skills and Gift: Highlight any skills or spiritual gifts the member possesses.
- Archive: Check this if you want to archive the member’s profile for future reference.
Additional Information
Below the main properties, you can add further spiritual and personal details:
- Spiritual Status:
- Accepted Jesus as Lord and Personal Savior: Check if the member has accepted Jesus, and add their Spiritual Birthday if known.
- Baptized in Water: Check if the member has been baptized, and add the Baptism Date.
- Other Personal Details:
- Facebook: Add a link to the member’s Facebook profile.
- Home Address: Enter the member’s home address.
- Birthday: Note the member’s birthday.
- Emergency Contact Person: Provide the name of the member’s emergency contact.
- Emergency Contact Number: Enter the contact number for emergencies.
Adding Notes
Use the Notes section to add any additional information about this member, such as spiritual goals, important milestones, or any other relevant details.
