How to Add Life in Frame

The Life in Frames section of FaithLife OS is designed to help you capture meaningful moments and reflect on their personal and spiritual significance. Here’s a guide on how to add a new entry in Life in Frame, including tips on using the provided content template to enrich your reflections.

Accessing Life in Frames

  • Open the Dashboard: Begin from the FaithLife OS dashboard and navigate to the Life in Frames section.
  • Choose Your Entry Method: On the left side of the Life in Frames section, you’ll see two options:
    • New Life in Frame Item: Use this option to quickly add a new entry.
    • New Life in Frame Item with Guide: Select this if you’d like structured guidance as you create your entry.

Creating a New Life in Frame Entry
If you’re ready to add a new image or moment to Life in Frames, follow these steps:

  1. Click “New Life in Frame Item”: Begin by clicking on the New Life in Frame Item button.
  2. Fill in the Properties:
    • Title: Enter a descriptive name for your content.
    • Cover Image: Upload a photo that best captures the moment. (We recommend a landscape photo with a 16:9 aspect ratio.)
    • Date: Note the date this moment was captured.
    • Scripture: Optionally, add a Bible verse that resonates with the image or your reflections.
    • Categories: Select a category that best fits your photo from the list provided.
    • Featured: Mark this if you want to highlight this image in your collection.
    • Status: Choose the status of your reflection – Not Started, In Progress, or Done.

Using the Content Template for Reflection
To enrich your experience, use the template provided to help you capture the essence of the image and its meaning. Here’s a breakdown of each section in the template:

  1. Image Description: Describe the image that caught your attention. Focus on the elements that stand out, conveying details to set the scene for your reflections.
  2. Personal Reflection: Share the emotions and thoughts sparked by the image. Reflect on how it resonates with your experiences or memories.
  3. Spiritual Connection: Consider the spiritual significance of the image. Does it connect with your faith or bring a Bible verse to mind? Reflect on how it might reveal aspects of God’s presence or teachings.
  4. Closing Thoughts: Summarize your key reflections and insights from the image, connecting its meaning to your life’s journey and personal growth.
