Accessing the Visual Board Section
- Open the Dashboard: Start by navigating to your FaithLife OS dashboard.
- Locate the Visual Board Section: Click on the Visual Board section to open it.
Creating a New Vision Board Category
- Click on the “New Vision Board Category” Button: On the left side of the Visual Board section, you’ll find the New Vision Board Category button. Click this to start creating a new category.
- Add the Title: In the dialog that appears, enter the name of your new category.
- Button Element:
- Edit the Name: Update the name of the button as desired.
- Action Settings: Keep the default settings for the action—there’s no need to change anything here. Once done, click Done.
Updating the Gallery View Database
Next, you’ll need to update the gallery view database to filter the Vision Board items based on the category you just created.
- Update the Filter:
- Go to the gallery view database.
- Set the filter to:
- Vision Board Category: This Category you created.
Setting Up Featured Board Items
You can highlight items in your Visual Board by using a callout block for featured items. Follow these instructions:
- Change the Name of the Callout Block: Use the text decoration feature to change the name of the callout block. You can use this text decoration tool to create a decorative name for your callout.
- Copy and Paste the Callout Block: Take the callout block you just edited and paste it into the Featured Vision Board Items section.
- Update the Filter for Featured Items:
- Featured Property: Set this to Checked.
- Vision Board Category: Set this to the category you created.
- Cleanup
Once you’ve completed the above steps, delete this instruction section and the callout block template.
