Accessing the Bible Topic Section
- Open the Dashboard: Start from your FaithLife OS dashboard and locate the Bible Topic section.
- Access Common Topics: We’ve added a collection of common topics for you, so you may not need to add them. Simply browse through the list and select any topic to begin your study.
Adding a New Bible Topic
If you’d like to explore a theme not already included, follow these steps to add a new Bible topic:
- Click “New Bible Topic”: Go to Quick Actions and click on the New Bible Topic button to open a new entry.
- Fill in the Properties:
- Title: Enter the name of the topic you wish to study.
- Status: Use this to track your progress. Choose from Not Started, In Progress, or Done to stay organized.
Below the title and status, you’ll find a content template, designed to guide you through exploring and reflecting on the Bible topic.
Using the Template for Your Study
The template offers structured sections to help you engage deeply with your topic. Here’s how to use each section:
- Verses on the Topic: Add Bible verses related to your topic. These scriptures will serve as the foundation for your exploration.
- Resources on the Topic: Note any additional resources—articles, books, or sermons—that provide insights on this topic.
- Pondering the Scriptures: Reflect on the insights from your research and connect them with the wisdom of the Bible. Consider how these perspectives align with the heart of biblical teachings.
- Thinking About My Thoughts: In this final section, evaluate your own thoughts and feelings on the topic. Reflect on what stands out to you and consider the importance of aligning your feelings with God’s word. How might you work on aligning your understanding and actions with biblical truths?
